There is every reason to believe that the giant skeletons found in hundreds of Adena period mounds are pronounced hybrids, most obviously Denisovan-human or Denisovan-Neanderthal-human hybrids. This can be ascertained by the fact that all indications are from the fossil remains found so far in the Denisova Cave that Denisovans were large. Moreover, their DNA links with Homo heidelbergensis, who could also be of huge size, tells us that pronounced hybrids that reached the Americas were equally of large size.

Denisovan DNA has been found among a large number of First Peoples of both North and South America. How they received such ancestry is still open to debate, but whatever the case it does tell us that Denisovan hybrids probably did thrive on the continent.

As to India, the Denisovans are most likely remembered as the Asuras, the demons, in particular their association with the story of the Churning of the Milky Ocean.
