Michael,

Thank you for these ideas and thoughts. There is every possibility that if yetis do exist then they might well be descendants of an archaic hominid species. I have read the various reports of close encounters with yetis, especially in Siberia, and conclude we are dealing with actual beings of some sort. My only problem is that for them to have existed across tens of thousands of years fairly large groups would be involved. Moreover, if they did exist, then we have to consider that sightings of similar beings all over the world are further examples of sightings of the same hominin species. I find this more difficult to swallow.

The paranormalist in me suggests that creatures of this sort, although based on archaic hominids, could well be temporarily physical, manifesting into our world for short durations before vanishing back from whence they came. In the 1980s I investigated dozens of sightings of big cats in the UK, including accounts of three different species being seen on the Isle of Wight! Where did they come from, and where did they go? Escapees from zoos just doesn't hold weight. I concluded a long time ago that they were temporary visitors into our existence.

It could be the same with yetis. If not, then they have developed the ability of virtual invisibility for them to evade discovery for so long.

On the subject of Denisovans, giants and the great size of Homo heidelbergensis, this is a matter covered in the book I did in 2014 with Dr Greg Little called Path of Souls. I repeat all this in The Cygnus Key, of course, with much more evidence besides.

It is a matter taken up again in new book Denisovan Dawn, co-authored with Greg Little, and coming out in 2019.
