The premise though is of in-formed and holographically manifest reality.
Whilst indeed digital information is 1 and 0 anything in physical reality can be so expressed.
Yes DNA is comprised of four chemicals - C N O H, but as the book shows, all quantised energy-matter can be so expressed in digital informational terms.
Don't forget that the pixelation size of universal digitised information is at the Planck scale, which at 10-35m is vastly smaller than the quantum level of wave-particle energy-matter.
Just as when the pixel size of an image of a wave is very small the wave looks continuous; so when the Planck scale digital information is aggregated to the quantum scale both the particle and apparently analog wave aspects of a quantum entity can be described.
Also on a universal basis both sequential and parallel processing are possible given the tiny pixelation size of information and the much larger scale we perceive it represented as.
