I did reply to you but it appears to have gone elsewhere - so here it is again:
thank you for your welcome and questions.
The concept of our universe being holgraphically manifested comes from the so-called holographic principle which extends the study of black holes where the informational entropy (information content) is proportional to their 2 dimensional surface areas (like a hologram) rather than their 3 dimensional volumes - to our entire Universe.
Man made holograms as you know bathe an object in light and in doing so collect information about it which is then recorded on a 2 dimensional film. When further light is shone through the 2-D film, the 3 dimensional hologram of the object is projected.
Any object, whether 'real' or a hologram, can be described in terms of digitised information (the basis for our telecommunications technologies) - creating the appearance of reality.
Conversely, our Universe, describes and manifests all reality as exactly the same digitised information expressed in complementary ways as quantised energy-matter and pixelated space-time.
The pixelation scale of the space-time of our Universe though (called the Planck scale) is a trillion trillion times smaller than our current best High Definition technologies.
So whilst reality, is real, it is innately in-formed and holographically manifest.
I hope this helps.
