The point however, what is the evidence we already have telling us. We have a series of events:
1. life on earth
2. the evolution of complexity
3. our human species with consciousness
The fossil record can only point to what happened – we need to speculate on what might have been driving it.
Can I recommend the below video by the late Lloyd Pye? It runs for nearly 2 hours but the first 20 minutes are a ‘must see’. For example, at the 17 minute mark Pye makes the statement that; “There is not a single human bone in the pre-human fossil record.”
Lloyd Pye – Everything you know is wrong:
Pye was an advocate of the intervention theory. He points out that it took millions of years to evolve ape – then in a geological blink of an eye there was a complete transformation with the appearance of homo sapiens.
We are not looking for a missing link. To fill the gap between pre-humans and humans requires dozens of missing links - and it is not likely that those missing fossils evolved on planet earth.
