For at least a decade now, individuals in arcane, indigenous traditions have reported a ripe transmission of cosmic wisdom that they have oddly described using the same phrase: “Crossing the Indigo Bridge”.
This wisdom is simply impossible to explain in the linear, sequential flow of an English sentence. And most Westerners might quickly dismiss it as fuzzy-minded, ‘New Age theological opinion’. Yet my research indicates that the insights are informed by authentic wisdom, and only advanced initiates can fluidly access its epistemological sources. Such folks are steeped in ancient ‘pagan’ traditions; and, they are anything but New Age.
For purposes of this post, I must lament the challenge of explaining holistic perceptions in mentally-based words that stealthily distort a mere sliver of the whole into what falsely appears to be an entire ‘picture’. Words bring their own implicit contexts, which remain invisible to speakers. Perceiving them is like trying to dry off underwater. This is why ‘left-brained’ and ‘right-brained’ people routinely talk past each other.
This is also why advanced concepts in subatomic physics, like CERN's recent validation of the Higgs Boson, are invariably clarified with analogies along with definitions. If everyone spoke archaic Hawaiian, or even the old Navajo tongue, such ideas would be much easier to transmit clearly in those ‘primitive’ languages compared to defining them in English.
All this being said, Crossing the Indigo Bridge clearly appears to refer to transforming individual consciousness. In my view, it seems to signal an avid, personal desire to access the next phase of wisdom in our expanding spiral of solar time. Concrete, specific information is a 5th Age relic in the realm of transformational consciousness. The newly, ‘downloadable codes’ are all about personal expansion — regardless of the overall human condition.
Robert, have you encountered something similar to this Indigo Bridge transmission in your area of the indigenous world?
