Martin, The Mexicans have a curiously disagreeable custom, in my opinion, of celebrating their own traditional holidays as well as theirs. They celebrate our Santa Claus Christmas on the 25th, the Tres Reyes (three wisemen) on the sixth of January, our Thanksgiving during the last Thursday of November, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Last night, they celebrated our Halloween. Tomorrow they celebrate their Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)----and get this!!! In their own country!! I really hate to see that. God help them all if the Chinese influence takes hold in Mexico and Ramadan. We'll be in trouble for sure! Gene
