It got me thinking. Especially about all the security measures he was suggesting.
I think I side with the government about the security measures. If you really sit down and think about it, if you discover extremely high technology stuff that potentially can be weaponized, if it were to fall into the wrong hands of a terrorist group or a less 'woke' society, then its a terrifying thing to think about.
And as a means of tracking who is leaking your info and putting the security in jeopardy, giving briefs with a mix of real and fabricated bullshit is a smart technique. Makes me wonder how much UFO stuff out there is just some of that misinformation. It used to be a term that just made me real in disgust about how controlling the government could be, but I find myself siding with them on this stuff.
But if there was actual contact with actual aliens, then I'm trying to understand the full threat of that getting out. As peoples knowledge of the existence of aliens isn't a security threat then it only leaves one thing as a potential reason for keeping that under wraps.
Is it that the majority of the world is so interconected in some religion that the knowledge of aliens existance would force that hole paradigm to crumble and cause global crazy religious wars?
How significant is that risk do you think. I'm just curious to play out a hypothetical scenario of the worst effects of aliens existence getting out. How bad can it get for human civilized religious society to be faced with that reality, if in fact it is the real reality? Is it a 100% guaranteed war starter?
