This is the board for you if you wish to discuss or explore conspiracies of any kind, historical or current.
I am still curious. Back in the 1960's engineering departments had very limited use of computers for generating design blue prints they were used mainly for checking calculations. Design engineers used the old hand drawn tracings and made blue prints from them. I am reasonably certain there are thousands of drawings on microfilm of the whole Apollo Project stored somewhere and in many places. Don't ever believe someone lost the plans, not possible. So what makes you believe the plans got lost. What makes you think they needed a heating system in the Lander. They had enough heat generating equipment on board to take care of the heat requirement and also the mylar film blocked the sun's heat. You do know the sun never sets on the moon. I know the landing gear was designed to collapse if Armstrong landed to hard as it turned out he landed so softly the ladder was higher than planned so he had to jump down a little.
My back ground is in heavy manufacturing. I was a tool and die maker/tool design engineer for over 40 years (retired). Now I do prototype work for a university. I am quite familiar with how things should work and how things were done in the mid century.
The main reason I don't buy into the Moon Landing Hoax is that all of the writers haven't got a clue as to how things are designed and built. Most of them don't know a screw driver from a socket wrench let alone know how to use them.
