From the Times of India

"residents flocked to Mahim Creek, one of the most polluted creeks in India that receives thousands of tonnes of raw sewage and industrial waste every day"

[timesofindia.indiatimes.com]

Why, to drink the creek water, of course...

A while back I tried to find out if this 'hysteria' had been followed up mass illness - which seems the most predicatable 'secularist' consequence.. I never foundany follow up reports although, granted, I didn't look that hard.

Nor do I see any now in Wikipedia, whom I strongly suspect would post such information, especially since it would clearly refute all notions that the water was somehow altered supernaturally.
