Nick Pope FAQ page [www.nickpope.net]
This question was put to you,
Haven't you signed the Official Secrets Act? How are you able to write and speak about your government work?
I signed the Official Secrets Act on my first day in the MoD and even though I've left, it binds me for life. But it doesn't preclude writing or speaking about my work. Politicians invariably keep diaries and write memoirs, and military officers write accounts of their careers. There's no bar on this sort of activity, provided you follow various rules and procedures, the most obvious one being the absolute prohibition on revealing any classified information.
Your final comment on this aspect prompts me to ask you, if there is any classified information that you are aware of that relates to UFO's you would not be able to tell us because you have been sworn to secrecy .
So can you tell us if there are classified documents relating to UFO's that you can not talk about, or does this very question come under part of your classified agreement that binds you to silence.
If in reality you cannot answer without breaking your oath then you will answer with NO , leaving us to hold the thought that there may be.
So for someone who has been sworn to keeping governments secrets , why should we believe what you say.
Are there different levels of security clearances regarding classified material, if so did you have full top level clearance.
