Yeah, I have to agree with Deep's reasoning on that. Salt makes perfect sense, and is backed up by the crops not growing in the salted track. I'd doubt that formation anyway, due to both it's irregular and sloppy shape, and the fact that it's composed of outlines instead of the completely flattened circles of crop formations. If someone can show me a genuine snow formation that is as precise as the crop formations and cannot be debunked by the salt theory, I'll gladly listen.
