It's nice to see some agree to that. I gets lots of flack for that one. I think it goes all the way back to when Plato argued that we are alone in the Universe due to the laws of perfection. That so many factors came into play to allow for our development that they are unreproduceable. I think if there is a Planet with life on it, it may very well need the things we do, Oxygen, water, carbon. Besides these are the indicators we are using to try to solve the mystery of life on Mars. So it seems that scientist think they should be looking for the same stuff as well, eh? Hey Merc, maybe we should come up with our own Drake equation... using all the previous variables and adding in favorable Human variables. Like Oxygen, Water, a Moon, an Atmosphere.... etc
