on the pillar below the cross there is an inscription in form of a ribbon around the pillar which says :
Christus vincit, regnat, imperat.
This cross is erected in front of the Church of Sarzeau a little town in the vicinity of the Castle of Suscinio in the Morbihan department of Britanny which happened to be the residence of the Duke of Britanny.
Inside this little church there are some marvellous stained glass
one depicting Joan of Arc on his horse with a beautiful lily
I have found that you can find real treasures in little churches and
not only in the big ones.
