I cannot argue with much you've presented, in a perfect world. You are correct, "we all fall short of the glory of God. " But that is not the point.
Let me ask you some questions. Do you think God wants us to let "evil" take over? I mean the kind of evil where a religion believes in genocide of all people who oppose their beliefs? Do you believe in personal responsibility? Do you think God will hold us ALL accountable for our actions? Do you think murderers should be let go out of prison so that they can go and murder someone else again or rapists so that they can prey on another woman?
Do you think the militant Muslims have the right to completely destroy our people and our country? Or others for that matter? ...the enemies within our country.
Do we not also have the right to live peaceful, happy, healthy andprosperous lives without the fear of being invaded, killed, or our property stolen, etc.?
Are these not God-given rights to all of us? And are these worth fighting for?
If my enemy needs or wants my help, I'll give it to him. But what if my enemy doesn't care whether I live or die? What if my enemy is a psychopath? What if my enemy kidnaps my child and threatens to kill him or her? Do I not have a right to keep my family from harm? And if I do not protect my family, will God hold me accountable? Or what if this enemy is caught? Is it not our responsibility to see that this person does not harm anyone else again?
We may be all wicked in the eyes of God, but do you have it in your mind to blow up a building and kill people? Are you thinking about preying on some woman and raping her? Are you considering robbing a bank? or steeling your neighbor's car? Are you considering beating your children so badly they'll need to be hospitalized? Are you considering torturing and killing animals for no particular reason?
You see, there is a difference between ignorance, wickedness, and evil.
Just some very serious thoughts that I have pondered for a very long time.
