Andy, I wish I could find it but I do recall reading of an ancient mine found in Africa that would have dated to times that were just ridiculous. But, there is so much crap out there that its hard to tell whats true.


I also wanted to ask you guys, and a statement above by Mark is what reminded me. " the Sun is at an explosive state never before seen in the history of our solar system". Statements like this are odd I think. We are a much more technically evolved peoples than we ever have been IMO. Could it be that the sun goes through these cycles on a large scale but no one previously had the ability to see them the way we do now? This applies to many things. Species going extinct to try and show we are having a huge effect on mother earth, sun cycles, weather patterns, etc....

People always point to our scientific data to show how these things are all getting worse or are at their all time worse. But we havent been watching these things closely enough to suggest that IMO. Does this make sense?
