It's my opinion. It's no smack in the teeth to anyone. Psychotherapists routinely put down Astrology and wouldn't be especially phased by my comment. I don't think anyone actually knows why Astrology works. There are various theories that's about it. I have studied it for some years as a hobby. I don't claim expertise, but it's been very instructive to me personally. It provides in my view a more useful framework for interpretation of strengths, weaknesses, challenges, etc. than does psychotherapy. No doubt there's much mumbo jumbo and questionable assertions among pros and dabblers like myself, so what. I take just as dim a view of many of the so-called experts in the psychotherapy field with their trial and error methodologies.
