My father, who is not only named John Wayne but is built, sounds, and acts like him alot, came to our house one day and my oldest daughter(18months at time) squealed real loud at her "poppa" and started for the door. My father had one foot on the step up and was starting onto the porch when he froze because the wolf(90% wolf) hit the open doorway and locked in fight mode and wouldn't let him in or our daughter out. He hollered in the house and I stepped into the room and started to laugh. That was the only time I ever saw my father afraid of anything. He never did understand why I had the wolf. He knew enough to not move any closer to the house though! LOL! 260+lb man standing 6'2" stopped by a 110 lb. wolf. Darn near got a beating at 22 years of age because I asked the wolf if he wanted him(my dad), and the wolf bared it's teeth!

On some of the pics I noticed the longer hair was also around winter time and it stated that these cattle shed the hair when the temp starts warming up, don't know about the "bangs". Also being on the beach I would figure a good breeze would be blowing in off the ocean. The direction would be into the cattle's face as it was moving towards the water.

Well there is a worthless cat around here that eats and sleeps and changes his size fairly quickly sometimes, and once had a schnauzzer that liked to sit next to me and type on this keyboard!
When it comes to the NA myths and legends I give it more credence then any other culture. Biased I fuess but hey I don't remember there being a penchant for lying before the landing of some lost pilgrims! ;-)

On another post(don't ask me where) I believe someone mentioned the possibility of the skinwalker forms as being more of astral projection. Would this mesh with what you know of NA mythology. If they can do astral projection then giving somewhat solidity to the projection shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. Might account for their ability to find their target no matter where they move.
Used to have problems with the windows left open at night when young even though we were not in town. I finally looked at it as, if I can't do much to stop them from getting to me then can't go worrying myself about it and try to figure out how to deal with it when it happens.
Got a mixed bag of blood running in my family tree but have been told there might be up to 3-4 NA bloodlines along father's side(choctaw[NE Texas] others supposed to be some of the "aggressive" lines). Know that about ten gens. back along the male recession there was a supposed full-blood female medicine woman but she had red hair. Still that redish tint now but the mixture has had many additions! lol Wishing I would have done the geneaology thing now.

P.S. What, if any, knowledge do you have of the skinwalker history and wolf mythology? Keep thinking I came across something about the wolf totem giving protection from evil entities/spirits. But alot fo things do that also.
