I remember hearing this story on a PBS story-telling show years ago when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I remember there was a lady who did chalk drawings to illustrate story as this guy with glasses who played the guitar narrated it.

I always loved stories that could give me the shivers, still do. Unfortunetly I haven't run across many that can anymore. The Legend Of Boggy Creek is one that gives me the creeps every time I watch it. Growing up, the story of "Taily Poo" was another.
