Eridanus, and the path of Phaeton .. ..

Much from Wiki, but the idea is old, and I thought someone might have input.

The path almost looks like peeking into Pandora's fabled box ... though that was just my first impression upon seeing it.
Phaeton of course failed his only try with the chariot of Helios, but what if the fable is allegory for having a peak into the 5th Hour of the Duat? A glimpse into the hidden domain of Sokar? And there are some great images of this on another board I will get those links. Enki-Ea and the Abyss ... fresh water (sweet water) in the "below".

I am not very familiar with asterisms. But this has come to my attention, and because of the hypothesis that it is a footprint left by our encounter with another Universe -- I am requesting input.

The second reason is the news of the “Flash Frozen” civilization under the ice in Antarctica. Proto humans are reported, as well as very large humanoids, and some with skulls resembling the skull structure seen in Paracas. [Most everyone knows about the flash frozen mastodons in the permafrost, with buttercups still between their teeth.]

The story of Tiamat’s defeat included the use of ‘The North Wind’.
It is an interesting coincidence that Eridanus contains (1). the COLD SPOT, (2). four galaxies, including a barred and very tightly wound spiral galaxy and (3). multiple binary systems with blue stars.
(4). One star is spinning so very fast that its equator exceeds its polar radius by 50%.

Other myths, stories, observations … ? Ideas? … Links? ???

Wiki:
A controversial claim by Laura Mersini-Houghton is that it could be the imprint of another universe beyond our own, caused by quantum entanglement between universes before they were separated by cosmic inflation.[3] Laura Mersini-Houghton said, "Standard cosmology cannot explain such a giant cosmic hole" and made the remarkable hypothesis that the WMAP cold spot is "… the unmistakable imprint of another universe beyond the edge of our own." If true, this provides the first empirical evidence for a parallel universe (though theoretical models of parallel universes existed previously). It would also support string theory[citation needed]. The team claims that there are testable consequences for its theory. If the parallel-universe theory is true, there will be a similar void in the Celestial sphere's opposite hemisphere[22][23] (which New Scientist reported to be in the Southern celestial hemisphere; the results of the New Mexico array study reported it as being in the Northern[3]).

The fellows who participated in the attempt [Philadelphia Experiment] to Warp a destroyer escort into another dimension, (invisibility) found themselves with many issues; -- one of which was the crewmen could be snatched from this dimension --- disappearing, never (?) to return. If several comrades grabbed the disappearing man and held on, he could be kept here. Later a piece of wearable electronics was designed to prevent these disappearances. ..

The Mythology:

According to one theory, the Greek constellation takes its name from the Babylonian constellation known as the Star of Eridu (MUL.NUN.KI). Eridu was an ancient city in the extreme south of Babylonia; situated in the marshy regions it was held sacred to the god Enki-Ea who ruled the cosmic domain of the Abyss - a mythical conception of the fresh-water reservoir below the Earth's surface.[10]

The stars that correspond to Eridanus are also depicted as a river in Indian astronomy starting close to the head of Orion just below Auriga. Eridanus is called Srotaswini in Sanskrit, srótas meaning the course of a river or stream. Specifically, it is depicted as the Ganges on the head of Dakshinamoorthy or Nataraja, a Hindu incarnation of Shiva. Dakshinamoorthy himself is represented by the constellation Orion.

… … ...
The stars that correspond to Eridanus cannot be fully seen from China. In Chinese astronomy, the northern part is located within the White Tiger of the West (西方白虎, Xī Fāng Bái Hǔ). The unseen southern part was classified among the Southern Asterisms (近南極星區, Jìnnánjíxīngōu) by Xu Guangqi, based on knowledge of western star charts.

Phaeton, Phaeton is this a Blue’s Clue?

Another theory with “dark energy”.
