Since you went to the trouble of posing the questions I thought I would give my own answers.

1 Bi-location. In some sense quantum entanglement is a variant of the bilocation theme, the two entangled particles being in essence a single system. If the holographic concept is relevant to the whole universe then objects might potentially be bi-located without violating any major laws, much as a TV signal could be received on multiple sets simultaneously.

2 Archaeologists are only human, if there is a straightforward explanation such as soaking the tusks in vinegar that should be included among the possible, or not disproven explanations.

3 This is more insult than question. This site is mostly about trying to frame better questions rather than thinking we have any actual answers.
