Hi Val,
Since this post I remembered also a strong connection for Australia and Japan through my favorite book "the Legacy" from Nevil Shute and my fave movie "Hiroshima mon Amour".
I think my genetic memory or past lifes connects me to Asia first and then to South of France and Britanny. All I know is I lived in South of France long ago with my twin.
In Turkey the strongest connection is in the Caves of Cappadoce
with the Fairy Chimneys. I have this flash in my head of beautiful
wall-cave paintings completely destroyed and when my son saw the Fairy Chimneys he left the group suddenly and ran toward the Chimneys and was actually dancing from one to another. It was a surreal and magical
sight. So both my son and I have a strong connection to Turkey. We were both mesmerized in Istambul in the Harem Kitchen where the Emeralds were on display the size of an ostrich egg almost and the Blue Mosque
was also in resonance with us.
