Rob, any time all sides of the question are not considered, hell breaks loose. I'm not rich as my dad was, but for the record, I'm crazy about capitalism. For example, medical treatment here in the USA is so expensive that people without insurance cannot afford it. My wife and I have a fine medical plan but it doesn't include vision and dental. Therefore, when we want glasses, tooth extractions, or prescription medicines, we get in our car and drove four or five hours to Algodones, NM, near Yuma, Arizona. On our way, we stop at an American Indian casino, have a great buffet, and play the slots a while. Sometimes we earn enough to pay off the doctors and pharmacies in Algodones. Before going to Algodones, we get a 35 dollars a night room, in Motel 6 in Yuma. After that, we go over to Algodones, eat a great Mexican meal, buy a year's supply of prescription medicines for $15.oo that would cost us two hundred dollars in the USA. A root canal that would cost more than 1,000 in the USA, we get in Algodones for one hundred twenty five dollars. The best prescription classes along with diagnostic eye exam -two pairs for $118.00 - ready in two hours! In the USA we'd have to wait two weeks. What I'm trying to say is that Capitalism gives options. Think of all the fun we had by not being able to afford certain services here. Also, here's an anomaly that has our American doctors, dentists, etc., frustrated. All over Southern California, Mexican doctors have cheap clandestine medical and dental clinics for people. A medical plan for an entire family will cost no more than $400 a year. However, my wife and I greatly prefer the so-called "inconvenience" of driving to Mexico.

As far as religion is concerned, the Christians and Buddhists here in Southern California get along so well that oftimes it's difficult to decide which is which. We all love and respect each other. However, this is not the case with Moslems - which is not of our choosing. Here in this town, the Moslem mosque is about five miles out in the country with its own cemetery, completely separated from all the other cemeteries.

After the Twin Towers Disaster, there was a movie in Los Angeles, mocking Mohammed. The Moslems of L.A. had a big demonstration about this - in a country where one should have his own opinions about any kind of religious leader or saint - even Jesus Christ.. In the politically correct notion, pluralism demands division. This doesn't have to be as in the case of the Christians and Buddhists. The pluralism with division creates constant frustration and anger among the citizens of any country where this evil holds sway. We must all be more creative in deciding just which kind of diversity is going to be accepted in a country.

What we need to do is quit acting like victims. A few hundred people should not have the right to decide the fate of millions.
