No true. The flat tire could prove to be good karma. It may have saved one from an accident that was a half-mile and 10 seconds down the road.
Going to war could be "good" karma if we meet the girl of our dreams when in a foreign country. Seemingly "bad" karma leads to good things more often than not. We don't see the whole picture--neither the past that led up the supposedly bad event, nor the future that is "changed" because of it. Of course it wasn't really changed--everything is predestined in this life, and the only future we can influence is our future lives. But people don't want to hear that.... Too bad, because it's true and it's why those people keep incarnating over and over and finding themselves in difficult situations--because they have no memory of what got them into the mess they're in, and they don't believe they are creating future messes down the road that they'll be bitching about in future lives.
