There are hallmarks of evolution--"tells" as the grifters and con-men call them them. And one of those givaways is how separate does a people insist on keeping the genders. Women do this, men do that... Women can worship, but not with men... Women must wear a veil, men do not.
Women may not accompany a man who is not his wife... Women will do this ritual at puberty, men will do another... man are warriors, women are not..etc. etc.
In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus said, in reply to a question about what one must do to enter the kingdom of heaven:
"When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
That is a true teaching, and of course the Church will never allow it in the canonical texts...
You think I'm racist, or arrogant, or elitist because I said something about music that didn't sit well with you, and you are off the mark.
God loves all, but egalitarianism does not exist in the metaphysical world, in the inner planes. It is all heirarchy based on one's state of being. You are Catholic, and you know they speak of the grades of angels, Seraphim, Thrones, Cherabim, etc. That's where that teaching comes from--the reality of hierarchy inside. We all have the potential to reach the pinnacle,
but we are all starting--in this life--from a different point. Some are Ph.D's already when they are born, others in kindergarten. This is because of the age of their soul and how they have used their existence previously.
Sorry you are so upset...truly I am.
