Psalms 40:5, "Many O Lord my God are Your wonderful works
Which You have done; AND YOUR THOUGHTS WHICH ARE TOWARD US
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered".
Thus, the "US", is the recipient of God lavishing abundance and treasures of mind and body (my interpretation). I, will not be able to account for the word "US" in any reference other than in Genesis Chapters 1 and 2.
The attention focused upon in this quote is calibrated to US as a species. We are one species, so the reference includes any mention of mind/body of any, or all members of the human species. I say this because the Biblical God is all inclusive "in His thoughts toward US". This is the conjecture of the writers of the Book. I can only suggest that personal interpretation is prevalent in this case of Biblical review. There are TOO MANY interpretations altogether. Yet, I suspect strongly that the personal interpretation is actually the impetus for ongoing debates of sovereignty of that intimate description of God; at least in this modern age. I selected mythology as the represented agency for UNDERSTANDING the Book. It allows me to be impartial and inspired by the words in the Book.
