"I don't have a problem with evolution. It happens. But what is the point, where is it going? Is it random? Is it survival of the fittest? Or do we have a spirit driving us to perfect our bodies so that we can better understand and operate in the universe or multi-verse?..."
"We can not tell. Obviously our creation myth may be a story about terraforming and sowing of life. Search tell us that creation myths has a core of common information, (van Ouver) inspite lack of knowledge between people in various regions of the world. Which indicate a common source.
SO... of corse it is likely that "those" who created us, may have a reason, a plan for evolution. May be it is like how we do breeding with domestic animals.
"Is it random? In the above scenario; no.
"Is it survival of the fittest?". That may be part of evolution.
" Or do we have a spirit driving us to perfect our bodies so that we can better understand and operate in the universe or multi-verse?
In that case; is it pre- programmed?
To think that our brain is a result of random chemical and physical reaction is really (sorry) stupid. There is no experience that complicated "machines" can arise as coincidences. There has to be a thought, information in the bottom.
"The difficulty arises when scientists such as yourself blur the line between interesting thins which can be shown to be objective, i.e. fact, and interesting things which are fiction, and therefore entirely the product of human imagination. Those with a faith belief, i.e. a belief relying totally on faith, tend to assert and/or claim that their beliefs have objective back up, but all such assertions or claims remain as entirely subjective. The area of unknowns is small and unless independent observations can provide a starting point for proper testing, ;they will remain so"
Which is totaly jumble.
"The intermediates are everywhere Peder. You are looking for the huge, grand changes, even though you say evolution occurred during “ lots of time.” Sometimes, trying to solve the big issues might blind us to what is going on beneath our very noses.
I humbly submit that I am an intermediate, as a matter of fact, every parent walking the Earth is an intermediate between his or her parents and children. Now, I also think that almost none of these intermediates think of themselves that way (any parents willing to chip in with your feelings, please do.). The fact that parents don’t think of themselves as intermediates is, probably, why we have a hard time identifying intermediates in the first place.
There you have it Peder, every living thing is an intermediate between its parents and offspring, if any. Such is the working of this world. That is why it is so difficult to find any."
Which makes me feel that you have not "fully" understand what it is about.
"Evolution is more complex than what most consider. It is one a higher level that incorporates a much larger picture. Parallel, virtual realms lie outside this playground we consider life. Mind rides the light."
Come on you guys…!
Why not get to the question?
You can better than that!
SO far from the theme...!!
