Nobody has been more creative in their long life than me, and I am not saying this to brag or anything, I hope you believe me.
When things break I fix them, one way or the other. Long lasting!
When I get anything new - anything! - I nearly always find something which could be better with them and I "modyfy" them. Not electronics though.
But it has become a joke in the family.
I love gadgets!
My creativity does not come from meditating, but from this love of practical things. I have also dabbled with charcoal drawings, and of course playing musical instruments. Invented a few things. Composed tunes.

But a place to sit quietly and contemplate and connect with the invisible force and sometimes pray for others - I must fix that up soon! I have everything ready to go, but there is always something else more urgent to do, even at my age. I just turned 87 yesterday and am as busy as ever.

Better than being bored.
A few times over the years, when feeling down for whatever reason. I have overcome this by sorting out my stuff!

GG.
