Caught your post on the way out of here, and thought I'd make a comment.
I have found that the space is already there and it only matters how I appreciate it for what it gives over, not just to or for me but to whatever else is there at the time.
I like the river I go to, and the fish and ducks that come to play with me when I go down there. Most times I just go and the fish arrive either when I get there or soon after...the ducks are always nearby. The pleasure I feel when it comes to me to go there lightly builds as I prepare and make the walk, so that when I do enter the water, I feel quite free and at ease and ready for company or not...it doesn't matter what may occur, just how I feel.
And having a little bread to feed the buggers certainly helps...that's how I can hand feed the fish and pat them as they rub against my legs and nibble at my toes.
I don't just stay in the one place though...I wander about in the water and the fish will be curious enough to follow...a simple wave of the hand under the water lets them know I have no bread right now, but they still are curious and follow and rub against my legs. They are smart enough to learn what a simple motion means.
Cheers for the topic!
