The titles of those videos are sensationalized. Stevenson went into this as a skeptic and a part of him still remained so at the end, however he was persuaded to believe there was something to this. He never in any of his works had he said he had conclusively proved reincarnation. Just that their was information that made one think it was possible. Reading some of his work I agree. He of course has been criticized heavily because of the topic he pursued but that's not surprising.
Reality, clarity, a heading of 'unknown' when necessary rather than 'it's a mystery' - all this is, in my strongly held opinion, so much more fulfilling and satisfying, because it gives a realisation of just how vastly extensive and infinite is the ability of the human brain to imagine. Why ascribe such amazing qualities to some totally undetectable, entirely imagined something or other … spirit/soul/god/mysterious-entities/etc/etc?
Revel in the appreciation and joy available to readers of the just about limitless ideas in fiction.
