Susan, it is simply a matter of estimation of current traits in the world of modern physicists, and the expectations of a MORE RADICAL TofE. Consciousness is my OBSESSION just as scientific autonomy is your passion in this very moment in history. It is a scientific trend that is catching up to the quantum paradigm of "unbelievable" behaviors of the quanta that again and again repeat the same scenario of outrageous behaviors in the world of tiny things. I can almost choke upon the results that physicists are getting each time they repeat the experiments. How can synchronous particles exist at such long distances? And, where does the "observer" connect to such an experiment? In SPACE, or in MIND? Truly, the course is SET for a new revelation of interaction, or is it correlation, with Mind and Matter? Even the Buddhists know that mind and matter are equal in this vibrant study. These are Yin and Yang also; the negative and the positive are well known in electronics; even now the negative and positive IMPLY a UNION of opposites in Reality as we presently assume to know. Why does this phenomena occur at all? Little particles acting IMPOSSIBLY; while we humans reel over at the implications of a new definition of space and time.

If you are so informed, then should you not consider that matter and mind are interacting AT SOME, AS YET, UNKNOWN UNREALIZED LEVEL OF the Universe? Take it seriously, because it IS SERIOUS to the physicists who are struggling with this untapped behavior of small things. I suspect that once the answer comes, it will change everything we once thought we knew about our world and our existence. If we tap into an inquiry of reality, then we should also tap into an answer that satisfies all conditions of particle behavior and our own influence upon those particles. We have much to consider before we disenfranchise our consciousness from the equation!!!!

LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!!!

In other words, KNOW BEFORE YOU PLUNGE into conversation.

PS. You may be wondering how all of this relates to the OP? I suggest that such phenomena of particles may very well confirm the bias of some people for reincarnation, or, in this thread, the afterlife. It may confuse, or, confide with our preconceptions. I know that you have indicated that our existence just dissolves and vanishes over time. Yet, with the realm of the very tiny, we are imprinted with our life essence at a level of entirety that is commonplace with tiny particles that HAVE EXISTED in our very bodies.

Someone said that we breath oxygen molecules that were breathed by famous people of the past: pick a name. So, how can we ignore the likelyhood that extended existence is not possible in the realm of miniscule objects? What manner of MEMORY exists at the quantum level? Who is to say that it is impossible to endure, especially at that small level of existence? Do we truly KNOW so much? I say, WE HAVE A LOT TO DISCOVER AND LEARN!!!!

Uncreated and Uncreatable...
Which neither space nor time touches.
