I am likely the worse of sinners, as the Apostle Paul would likely have put it.
The things I know I ought do, I seldom do, while those things which I am fully aware I should avoid doing are the very things I do. Does that sound like someone making a simple mistake?
A mistake, as I see it, is different. A mistake is to do something inherently wrong but not necessarily intuitively wrong (maybe I should have known better, but with no one to discipline by example how am I to know for certain one way or the other). [Rat's behind, remembering to close my brackets is like acute arthritis, it only hurts really bad when I take notice of it.]
To err is human, to forgive is divine. I'm definitely human and no where near as divine as I would wish to be.
