We try and find out what it is that we all believe in so that we may assess what it is that we ourselves believe in.
Thankfully we mostly live our daily life so we don't even have to bother with anything else that is going on in the world unless it enters our personal space. But how much do we wish for something grand to descend upon our life?
If I won the lottery, I don't think an island full of folk who would live there to help create a wonderful little universe would do much for me...in fact, I think I would just end up creating an island full of bums who ended up doing little except wish that others were there to do their work for them.
Instead, I think I would create a world full of people who rarely have a hope of ever meeting someone outside their own environment unless they use the postal service...and let them make their own life in the midst of our little world that traders take our goods elsewhere to exact a fee that we use to lift our meager life up with because we do so try hard to make the best of what we can do.
And the four seasons in a year would be our pleasure to celebrate in the glory that the seasons offer: Summer onwards - cooling, collecting, calming and joy.
It is a cycle I shall always evince in this message board.
