Thanks for this! I'm going to look into this more. We always tell people to eat more green, leafy vegetables like spinach and kale, but maybe it's a good idea to think about limiting some of them especially in conjunction with other calcium rich foods like milk, cheese, yogurt and yes, milk chocolate. We recommend 2-3 servings a day of calcium rich foods, but if people are eating other high calcium foods as well we should probably specify that. These include some seafood like salmon and sardines; seeds (especially almond), nuts, lentils, beans and legumes, and some fruits like strawberries. That's not even counting the calcium-fortified foods like orange juice.

Caffeine intake has been linked to a lower rate of calcium kidney stones, though, so there's hope!
