You really don't have a clue, do you (rhetorical)? Quasars were given that name because not much was known about them at the time. Quasi-stellar radio source. Arp thought they were very fast moving, due to their intrinsic redshift. He thought that they were ejected by other galaxies that lay close to them, purely by chance, in line of sight. In reality, as I've said already, they have no connection whatsoever with Arp's imagined close galaxies. Those galaxies are separated by gigaparsecs in distance, and gigayears in time. We now know that they are not quasi-stellar objects. They have a high redshift because they are a very long way away. They are the active regions in the centres of giant elliptical galaxies. The name has stuck, however. They are not independent of the galaxies in which they sit. They are not objects that have been captured by these giant elliptical galaxies. Or ejected (impossibly) by other galaxies. It is pure woo. Arp knew how fatal these observations were to his 'theory', as Tom Bridgman reported. What was his response?

In Arp's book, he reports on a press conference where John Bahcall was announcing some of these early results (pg 55). Rather than acknowledge this was a severe blow for his model, Arp emphasized that this could not be demonstrated for ALL quasars observed. Arp's denial was in the same class as creationists complaining about gaps in the fossil record, who, when an intermediate is found, insists that evolution now has TWO gaps!

So, I would suggest learning some basic astrophysics, and stop making a fool of yourself on here. It gets tiresome having to continually correct your scientifically ignorant misunderstandings. This is undergrad stuff. Why don't you understand it? Then again, to be conned by electric universe woo one needs, by definition, a considerable amount of ignorance in a number of scientific areas.
