The red belt in the prior post's diagram is the Kuiper belt. Both Ultima and Pluto are Kuiper belt objects.

The theoretical Oort cloud would be generally spherical and much more vast.




Interesting bit of trivia: Oort was a Dutch astronomer and Kuiper a Dutch-American astronomer...
