I thought the battery industry was moving away from liquid based cells because of what happens when damaged. I do have a question, how toxic is the "exotic rust" and how is it disposed of. On the surface it looks like there is quite a process to making and using this battery. I did notice that this battery is a lab rat on a small scale and not sized presently for use in a car. From my past experiences things built in a lab on a small scale do always meet expectations when you try to scale them up. I have that situation presently with a prototype digester to generate methane gas from waste water. At 150 gallons it works fairly well, but how well will work at 150,000 gallons ???? Don't get me wrong I get very excited over this kind development. I find it fun to take some ones ideas build prototypes, some times many tries before something clicks or it may be a big disappointment.
