Just as an aside I visited China for the first time in 1998 and took myself to Suzhou a city Marco Polo had also visited. There is quite a famous garden there and in it is a pool covered with a kind of dome with a large hole formed in the center top. I was told that at night the moon shone through it and a reflection of the moon could be seen on the water.
Suzhou is also the stamping ground of I M Pei the architect of the Lourve pyramid. Just as the moon is circular so are the craters, pretty much. Nice to see NASA is catching up.
