Today one can note the notoriety and attention the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been receiving. Due partly to some EPA monitoring and required reporting tasks you’ll get an idea of recent Gamma / Beta Radiation counts and their substantial increases ever since the nuclear age and electricity generation by nuclear reactor stations (nearly 70 years now).

That there have been nuclear disasters such as a multitude of above and below ground nuclear detonations to include WWII Pacific blasts over two Japanese cities, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and more recently, Fukushima, to name several of concern, one can see something of an increase in radiation exposure levels globally. In a manner of speaking, the cows have left the barn a long time ago.

Those of us once in the military knew quite well the dangers of ionizing radiation and trained accordingly. The danger hasn’t gone away. What remains now is how to manage current exposure levels, encourage deterrence toward nuclear usage (one of the reasons N Korean denuclearization is in everyone’s best interest), shut down dated nuclear power generation stations (now being done, especially, in Europe), as well as come up with treatment protocols where necessary, to name a few things to get shifted into higher gear. You might agree.

There has also been a strangeness of environment in southern Oregon and northern California, regarding animal habitat and animal / insect changes – Perhaps another area to monitor for you. The counts per minute (CPM) have exceeded the hundreds to thousands, have passed the hundreds of thousands and millions, and are now tallying into the billions in some cities (you can see for yourself from the tables).

Since your monitoring this radiation exposure, here’s a site that regularly monitors disclosed data levels and is current as of March 2018. . .This is very new territory for modern science and all who inhabit the planet.
