I think those forts are more ancient than 2000 years. I doubt they were created to be the way they were, since the sloping walls would have been too easy for the invaders to scale. No, I think they are much older and could be connected to other vitrified remains in other parts of the world. Maybe there was a cosmic event that scorched the earth and melted those structures?
