May I respectfully ask you a question to your statement;
>>>It is widely accepted here, that Spain jumped on the war wagon, after Blair agreed to give back Gibraltar to the Spanish. Great morals, eh? I am sure, in time, other such 'corrupt' reasons for backing the attack, will surface in various countries around Europe. <<<
Don't you consider it sad that such things had to take place in order to form a coalition out of Europe in such a noble effort to rid the tortured people of Iraq from a brutal regime ?
I mean given the recent religious pilgrimages that had been banned for 25 years (one million Iraqi's taking part), the shutting down of two confirmed terrorist camps along with the distruction of 800 plus suicide vest etc etc etc, the elimination of an Islamic Extremeist organization in N. Iraq, the rebuilding of the infrastructure that was in such a state of decay, the protest against the USA showing that freedom of Speech, the right to assemble and the evidence that the Iraqi People are more than willing to rule themselves and look forward to a positive future is more than enough reason to have supported the Liberation ?
The sooner the people in Europe and the UK start realizing the benefits of this noble cause and stop practicing uncalled for anti-american sentiments the sooner the world can move even more forward to global stableization and peace.
All The Best,
