Hummmm, KASHYAPA.....not sure of the spelling. It's late and I was just going to shut down when I had to have one last peek. Yawn!
Very interesting Milo and I will have to complete the read tomorrow but just had to mention Kashyapa.

Couple of years ago, '99 ?? National Geographic (pretty sure) had an article on Sri Lanka ( isn't this where Arthur C. Clarke lives) Is Sri Lanka now Ceylon or are the two separate places? Either or, high upon a cliff was a Fort? Retreat, or home of Kashyapa. Can't recall his historic attributes, king maybe, but he had built a monument like cube, monolith type wall. It was black, and I want to say stone and one side was highly polished. Seems it had sacred attributes.

I can't recall the specifics of the article, but believe he has some legend from Vedic times in India. Will see what I can dig out of my notes. Anyone got some old Geographics?
