With all respect Ash, but you can not possibly compare the Greatest Book of the 20th Century with a stolen space story. They are being faithful to the book and that is good. (really die-hard fans like me would regard it as sacrilege if PJ had altered too much) PJ has done an excellent job in trying to keep the atmosphere of the book. Of course the book is ten times better. Of course imagination goes above images presented by a movie. Of course the dialogues, the mysticism, the grandeur is very hard to come even close to. Filming LOTR is quasi-impossible but PJ sure has done an excellent job.

BTW: Have you read the book? If not, you definitely should and not only because it is the best book ever.

Regards,

Harry
