Hi Ananda,

Well, I'm here to study at the university of Bologna until July (Northern Italy). I am stationed in a town called Forlì. Weather has been especially kind so far- 23-28°C. Settling in fine, but my Italian leaves alot to be desired. But then, I'm here to change that.

Wine is wonderful and very cheap. So is the food. As for the accommodation- the equivalent of £75 a month for a large apartment shared with five Italians. Dirt cheap by the standards at home. The countryside is very nice once you get away from the towns. Rolling hills with small villages, farms and forests. I haven't had much opportunity to travel yet, but when I'm more comfortable with the language, I'll have a go.

Good to hear from you Ananda,

I hope you are well,

Best Wishes,

Matthew.
