YES! I said this earlier about Bill Barr. There are roaches who love the bureaucracy in Washington. For those who love it, it's the lifestyle in D.C. that is the draw. See my Roger Stone subtopic here.

And while Roger is an extreme example of depravity in the Washington set, within there is the Georgetown Set, Ambassador Set, Capitol Hill Set, Pennsylvania Ave. set, etc, and all have an irresistible allure. And some people can't pull themselves away. That's what I see in AG Barr and Senator Graham right now. They will literally do anything to stay inside the beltway. They will debase themselves, they will forget why they went into public service in the first place. They need the lifestyle and will do anything to keep it. That is the Swamp.

The good people I know who went into public service in the nation's capitol came out never wanting to go back. They hated it. Because they are good people.

And that's why I've also said before, the Swamp is bad for Trump. And Trump makes the Swamp worse.

The vast majority of public servants who go to Washington do their civic duty and get the hell out. That's why it's scary that Trumpers think that jokes about Trump staying in office or his shitty kids becoming a dynasty are so scary. We need people who don't want to be there, otherwise too many people would stay and corruption would spread unimpeded.
