I don't have to watch the whole vid, 5 sec is enough to tell me what it's about. Actually don't need a video at all, just talking to people makes the point.

I can't find argument with that.

That's where the argument begins. I take it you're not fond of the concept of "allies" or of "helping".
Guaranteed those things will happen again. No we weren't responsible and are not obligated to help another country. Unless someone comes after Canada or Mexico. BUT.... are we obligated as humans to help those in ovens? I think we are. I wonder how many would volunteer in the military to stop another holocaust.

Agreed. Except in regards to nuclear weapons. If anyone fires off a nuclear missile it will affect the planet. The jet stream guarantees it will affect us. Russia's nuclear incompetence caused Chernobyl, we were able to pinpoint Chernobyl by radiation detected in the US and satellite imagery. My point is there are situations where we should not rely on other countries to handle things.
It gets complicated. Exxon thinks Iran is strategically important. Who decides what is important?
I'm guessing you are in favor of being a totally autonomous country. I don't know if that's possible. Considering the world's current state of maturity, I'd say it's not possible.

Agreed with some exceptions. I think France was grateful for foreign intervention in WWII.
As long as there is money to be made, greed will dictate foreign policy and determine intervention.
