I’m not a yoga fanatic by any means. But the breath control and self awareness are amazing if one is interested in understanding the intricacies of the body. That’s why I mentioned it. I excercise a lot, but mostly lifting, cardio, gym stuff.
When I take the time to work on yoga poses and inversions I really have to concentrate on specific joints and muscle groups. It’s a really interesting and enlightening experience having to concentrate on an awareness of little bunches of flesh and bone to hold those awkward positions. You really have to train, you know, “use the force”.
I’ve never done water yoga. That sounds interesting.
