But here I must remind you of something, friend. You forget, that while you were in your utopian bubble, having truly worthy (albeit untested) idealistic thoughts, you were surrounded by many people that didn't give a damn about any of that utopian crap. They mocked those ideas before they even knew what the ideas were about. Then there were the rest of us. This one line tells me exactly where you stood, but I've known that for a while now anyway.
If I may disagree about one thing though. I don't doubt for a moment that Peter would have subjected himself to the same learning curve, because clearly he gives a shit about issues. That's a laudable trait. Maybe it's why he became a fireman. (And thank you for that, Peter)
