It is the status quo killing older as well as the younger people. it is a failed school system that makes "graduates" fear the future so much that they suicide slowly or quickly. It is the decreasing quality of life for tens of millions of Americans caused by decisions that are suited best for financial and business interests. It is poor health caused by government decisions that boost the bottom line of businesses and the bottoms of individuals or what I often call "earl butts" named after the agricultural secretary who turn Iowa into a corn factory.

All of these decisions led directly to decreasing life spans and it was obvious when they were made that it would occur. Life expectancy bottoming out at 74 is based on halting current trends now. If we don't halt these trends, or God forbid, they get worse then the day will come when workers are mere thoughtless cogs serving their masters and will dutifully die when they turn 65.

Until we fix the schools there will be no turn around and as long as we elect the same people who made these decisions and serve financial interests there will be no change in the schools.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
