Yes, I am a firefighter. When did I claim otherwise? Are you confused because in other threads it has been mentioned I'm an EMR/EMT? This is common. The majority of our calls are medical-related. We are certified at the EMR level which in the US aligns with the EMT-B cert.
If Ray had ONLY gone off on his stale "Canadian Firefighter" kick in this thread, your claim that he was joking around, or whatever you're claiming, would have more merit. The issue is he has done it hundreds of times -- he uses it as a method of discrediting any position I hold, with the assumption that we're stupid and should stay in our lane. This time, with a fire demolishing his state, enough was enough. The video was used as a REMINDER of how terrible this event is. It is rather unbelievable that you cannot grasp this.
Your autism kicks in not only with your inability to grasp the multilayered facets of communication, but also in the rigidity of your thoughts. Here's an example:
Again Pete, are you a firefighter or not?
Do you have a compulsive need to be acknowledged as a hero?
Just stop lying for once.
Where does that even come from other than a hardwired opinion? The questions barely make sense in the context of the discussion here.
2. I do not. I only bring it up when I'm defending myself.
3. I am not lying.
Being on the spectrum, you seem to believe that when you've decided someone is wrong it means they're lying when they say anything contradicting the hardwired rigidity of your understanding.
This is not how it works.
We're not getting anywhere with this. I know my motives. You do not.
Ray has used what I do to attack me countless times. In a thread on the AZ Senate, it was out of order and off-topic. With the fire doing the damage it is in his own state, enough was a enough.
Get it or not, I don't care.
